R&D: where the next revision comes from.

We keep pace with the latest technology so our customers get the best and most economical solution. That has been the mission since 1992. These are the themes on our drawing board now.

R-01

Hydrogen & electrolysis mesh

Electrolysers are built around fine, exactly specified stainless and nickel-alloy mesh, close to our core competence. We develop woven and knitted constructions for stacks, and sintered filtration for hydrogen storage and fuel-cell systems: one of the fastest-growing filtration segments.

R-02

Gradient sintered media

Multi-layer sintered laminates with coarse-to-fine pore structures reach extreme efficiency while holding more dirt: longer on-stream time, fewer cleaning stops. Together with self-cleaning element designs, this is "minimum downtime" engineered into the material itself.

R-03

Surface engineering

Electropolishing for ultra-smooth pharma and food surfaces; nano-coatings for extra corrosion and microbial resistance; duplex zinc-polymer systems for coastal and desert atmospheres. The right finish often doubles service life.

R-04

TORWASH® heritage

As partner in the European TORWASH project (with TNO), Averinox contributed filtration and dewatering know-how to a process that turns wet biomass and sludge into energy. Proof that our materials thinking carries into new energy systems.

R-05

Sustainability by material

Stainless mesh is inherently recyclable and our media are built to be cleaned and reused, not thrown away. With regulations tightening (emissions, discharges, substances of very high concern such as PFAS), filtration quality becomes an environmental instrument.

R-06

Smarter service

Digital weaving and automated production shorten lead times for custom work; sensoring and predictive maintenance on belts and presses turn breakdowns into planned interventions. Our service data feeds straight back into product development.
